  Customer service with Pottery Barn Kids has been extremely disappointing. I am currently on the phone on hold for 26 minutes now (3rd phone call since March 15) to speak to a manager and I keep getting denied the right to speak with one. I purchased a $55 backpack for my daughter's first year of Kindergartnen and the strap has fully broke. Bare in mind it's Kindergarten, she only has a folder and her lunch in her backpack. I think a $55 backpack should last the school year. My daughter came home crying because it was broken and no one seems to want to help us exchange it for a new one. I am taking this complaint to every social media outlet and Mom's Group that I know until I get a response.

  Tracy at PBK Southpoint was extremely helpful. She asked if she could help me as soon as I walked into the store. I needed a desk for my son's room and the color of his PBK furniture was discontinued so she worked with me to find a coordinating color. She also worked with me to get the best price since one of Pottery Barn's little known policies is that if the color of the furniture is not a display color in the store, it is not eligible for store pick-up, forcing you to pay shipping and surcharges. No comment on the desk yet as it was delivered yesterday and requires assembly. Tracy was great, but Pottery Barn needs to update their policies.
