    I initially chose Mattress Firm because they offered next-day delivery. After moving cross-country, I arrived a day before moving into my new home and spent the night in a hotel, specifically so I could get a mattress delivered for my first night there. The salesman was very friendly and knowledgable, helped me find the right bed, explained the financing options and had me pick a delivery time. I left feeling very pleased. The next day, the mattress did not come in the 3-hour delivery window. I called 30 minutes after the window ended to see where it was, and was informed by the salesman the delivery drivers had come to the house, called my phone and left a note on the door with no answer. This did not happen — multiple people were home all morning through the delivery window and no one heard a knock, there was no missed call or voicemail, and there was not a note on the front door. The salesman told me he would call the warehouse to re-schedule delivery for later in the day. I called back several times over the next three hours and was repeatedly told they were "figuring out" the delivery time. Finally, after waiting 6 hours for the mattress to come and being unable to leave the house to purchase other necessary furniture or household supplies, I called and insisted on being given a firm delivery time. After this, I was told the mattress was not able to be delivered that day and would be delivered the following day. I told them the only reason I had purchased from their store was to get one that day, and if they could not deliver that day I no longer wanted to purchase the mattress from them. The salesman offered me a full refund and apologized many times. I asked if my financing account through Synchrony Bank would be cancelled and was confirmed that the charge would not go through and an account would not be created. Two weeks later, I received the account information and credit card from Synchrony in the mail. There was no charge on the card, which means that they did communicate to Synchrony that I had been refunded but did not void the creation of the account as they told me they would. Instead I received a lot of mail for a credit card I have no use for and had to spend even more time dealing with this company trying to cancel the account myself. As a final straw, I have received many emails with promotions for products and asking me to review my experiences. Probably they should remove customers who are clearly very unhappy from the "review us" mailing list.

    Outstanding. All around great service. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and helped me find the best mattress for me. I would highly recommend this business.
