Reviews about ALDI

Remodeled and just in time. It's growing in the number of patrons that visit it daily. They have a wide selection of goods that you would find at the grocery store, but also a wide selection of unique gems that will spice up any meal or party. They also sell a variety of kitchen and house items that are in great quality for such a low price. If you haven't been following Aldi in the news, they have removed a ton of additives and have a huge organic section that costs the same as non organic food items. They also have cheaper alternative products that are off brand that are equal or superior to the product they are replacing. They also have a great deal of imported cheeses to select from. This store has almost everything you need for your day to day life for a fraction of the price you'd pay for at the any other store. I wish everyone had an Aldi close to them. I hope to see more of them near Durham in the future.

Cramped but super affordable. They seem to have some issue keeping some of the more popular shelf stable products stocked, like the Chipotle lime salsa and peanut butter chocolate cookies. Produce section is not huge, but great priced. The company does see to have a genuine commitment to sustainability, which is awesome. 2 things to know in advance: 1) Bring a quarter with you! No quarter, no cart! 2) bring your reusable bags! There's no plastic bags, and that's a good thing!

Clean set up. Great produce and cheese selection. They have an isle dedicated to non-grocery items which is currently stocked with gift choices for kids and adults and different Christmas items. The lines move fast because the cashiers move fast as lightning. Bring your own bag and a quarter for the cart. Also, the German chocolate selection is most superb.
